yesterday was our so-called unlucky-lucky day. i had a cup of strong coffee for breakfast, resulting in the hyperness of my body. i was kinda in a good mood until i received a message in the bus at 0830. germaine had a fever and she couldn't make it to school. seriously, i almost wanted to shout 'what?!' upon receiving the mesage. our 1087 ica2 presentation was on that freaking day. i guess my facial expression was kinda dramatic as a girl opposite me was looking at me with a is-this-girl-ok face. anyway, i was so freaked out. we're using germaine's notebook for our presentation and the slides were in her thumbdrive. only after i saw khalilah alight the bus did i inform the bad news. bizhen said we could try to borrow sandra's notebook. i didn't think it's a good idea as it can reflect how reckless our group is. thank goodness, due to my hyperness, i remembered that hidayah usually brings her notebook to school. so i called her if i could borrow her notebook. alhamdulillah, her lesson started at 10, hence, she could lend hers. one problem was solved. then, this question popped in my mind. what about the thumbdrive? i asked khalilah and she answered that wandi could have the back-up since he asked germaine for it. i called bizhen first if germaine sent the slides to her. nope, she didn't have it and she told me that wandi could have it. i called him. and alhamdulillah, he had it. problem solved. man, if bizhen didn't called germaine that morning, we won't know that she's sick and couldn't come to school. if hidayah couldn't lend her notebook to us and if wandi didn't have the back-up. just wave farewell and sayonara to the 40% of our 1087 exam. finally, i managed to listen to all the songs in 'minutes to midnight'. well, i think it's a really good album. linkin park seem to be out of its comfort zone. read the papers. as usual, another freaking bombing news. it occurred in hyderabad, india yesterday after the friday prayers. a historic mosques was blasted, killing several people and wounding 35 others. as iwas reading the news, linkin park's song 'hands held high' stuck in my head. one of the verses goes 'it's ironic/ at times like this you pray but a bomb blew the mosque up yesterday'. i really can't stand these freaking bombings. not surprisingly, most of the bombings have been blamed on muslim militants. haiz. btw, i have that urge to have a talk with dr mahathir. haha. oh, the bicara with dr mohd asri on thursday night and the yesterday article on him were really informative.
